Amy Lindeman Allen is Indiana Christian Church Associate Professor of New Testament at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana and director of the Growing in God’s Word initiative for bible storytelling with children there. She is the child of fourth and fifth generation immigrants from Germany to the United States, born in the American Midwest and raised in the American South/Southwest. Publications include: Parenting Beyond Boundaries in Mark’s Gospel (2026, forthcoming; co-authored with Sung Uk Lim); The Critic in the World: Essays in Honor of Fernando F. Segovia (2024; co-edited with Francisco F.
