Prof. Annemie Dillen is a full professor at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at KU Leuven, where she also serves as Vice Dean for Education. She leads the Centre for Women’s Studies in Theology and is actively involved in interdisciplinary research as a member of the Leuven Centre for Health Humanities (LCH²), the Leuven Interdisciplinary Centre for Lived Religion and Meaning, and the KU Leuven Child & Youth Institute (L-C&Y).
In addition to her research and teaching, she directs the Facultaire POC Theologie en Religiewetenschappen, guiding the faculty’s strategic programs in theology and religious studies. Her work bridges pastoral practice, empirical research, and theological scholarship, with a focus on gender, health, and the lived experience of religion.
